Sara has had pets since her parents got her a cat when she turned 5. Since then, she’s owned numerous cats, hamsters and one stupendously hilarious beagle. She currently has one special needs cat named Cayenne. She has volunteered at Centre County PAWS for over 20 years in a variety of roles, but currently spends most of her volunteer time working with the medical team and fostering medically needy animals. She is comfortable working with dogs of any size and temperament, and is skilled at administering medications of all types. Sara enjoys meeting new pets and figuring out what they like to do when their humans are out of town, ensuring they are comfortable and stress-free! When she’s not pet sitting, Sara loves to read, hike, play hockey and discover new local breweries!
